Golden Sunrise Over Bay Mills

I left the house this morning, and got a mile down the road when the sky lit up all shades of purple and pink almost instantaneously. I looked behind me and saw a full rainbow arching across the sky. I raced home to grab my camera and sped up to the Mission Hill Overlook. The pink sky and rainbow had vanished in mere minutes, but I did get this pic as a very nice consolation. I was the only one there to take it in; and, as the sun popped above the horizon, a huge flock of waterfowl took off from the lake below me. It was an amazing sight. The sun disappeared behind the clouds as quickly as it arrived.
