Typography.
This typography piece was inspired by the opposing characteristics of stale and fresh. I focused on this theme as the contrast between the techniques and colours would created a bold text that would be easily read by the audience. To create this piece I cut out the typography and tea-stained, burnt and rubbed dirt into each letter to create an organically stale look. I contrasted this with fresh and colourful flowers which I pressed into a scanner to create an interesting flattened effect. To ensure the letters were of a high quality, I then edited them in Adobe Photoshop which kept it easy to read.
