Patio
The "usual" size for the average patio is 3m x 3m. I made a scale drawing using Xcel after selecting the slabs we wanted. These will be 800mm x 800mm (green), 800mm x 395mm (blue), and 395mm x 395mm (orange).
The reason that the half and quarter slabs are 395mm and not 400mm is to allow for a 10mm joint for pointing.
All the slabs will be grey, but it's easier to see the number of different size slabs if they're different colours on the plan.
There will also be a small path of the same slabs leading to the main patio area.
