Change is Coming

The second track on the former Big Four route in Berea has been put down and workers have been busy finishing it. Conrail is in its last months of independent operation. By next summer the tracks shown here will be under CSX ownership and operation. A westbound manifest freight is coming off the Short Line and taking the Toledo Connection.
