Piccadilly Line 1973 stock DM208 calls at District line station Stamford Brook on the local lines between Acton Town and Hammersmith.
No Piccadilly line trains are booked to run via the locals, only via the two fast tracks in the middle of this picture. However, in times of disruption, or engineering works, trains have been known to run via the locals either with the District or instead of the District.
Some Piccadilly line trains were replacing District line trains along this section of line due to engineering works around Earl's Court which meant no District line trains could run west of South Kensington.
