Overhead wiring along the single track headshunt now appears to be attached to new masts along its whole length.
The new mast is paler than the 1960s gantry, to which the new wires are not connected.
The track furthest from camera is the headshunt. The track between it and my train is the bi-directional 3rd rail electrified Merseyrail line to Hunts Cross. It also has 25kV overhead.
