Comet and CME during the Great Patagonian Eclipse
Not only a CME, but also a sungrazer comet, treated us during the Great Patagonian Eclipse of Dec 14, 2020. (identified as C/2020 X3 SOHO).
The coronal mass ejection originated from a fulguration at the active zone 2792, just coincident with first contact. During totality the shock of the ejection had already blown a considerable bubble in the corona. See accompanying image with stronger processing.
