Autumn Colours

The grape vines leaves have started to change colours with the onset of winter. The last of the fruit were harvested a few weeks back and the vines are shutting down for the winter. In the distance can be seen the Richmond range and the Wairau Valley. The large winery in the distance belongs to Delegates. The vines are normally colorful for a few weeks each autumn, but a early frost would quickly burn the leaves turning them brown.
