My "Ode to Jennifer"

Although I have used that technique many times before, I was inspired today to do it "Once more with feeling..."

I used Papertrey Ink cs as it has almost as smooth a surface as a shipping tag does. I stamped and heat embossed before cutting out my shape with a Nestie. I use wax paper instead of a craft sheet and smooshed on Worn Lipstick, Peeled Shutters and Dried Marigold. I just love the names as much as the product. After spritzing and smooshing to my hearts content, I then inked the edges with chalk ink in two colors. As a last finishing touch and something I think Jennifer forgot to mention today, I rubbed down my background with a soft rag to remove all the ink from the embossed areas. This puts the "resist" in "resist technique". I dabbed a little ink on the sentiment to highlight the important words. Hope you ENJOY! I know I sure in the heck did! Linda aka Oz

oh... almost forgot. I made up the little green flowers to use but didn't like the scale when all was said and done. I bet you see them used another day though...hehe
