Fellow Flickrite Dan Lowe and I were scoping this site out a couple weeks ago on a cloudy day when there was nothing to lose and found it acceptable. I tried again last week and got a major cf'ing so I was determined to get it right. With a free couple hours this afternoon and sunny skies predicted I gave it a third shot. Here CSX local B724 is rolling north on the former Agricultural Branch Railroad at the switch for Mass Container. The power and 7 tanks on the pin are in the town of Northborough MA, the rest of the train (5 boxes, 1 lumber and 18 C&D gons) is in Marlborough MA. Rumor has it that Mass Container (just out of frame to the left - I sacrificed some scenery to shoot the switch points) has won a contract to make boxes for Amazon, and that rail service will be starting up again in the fall. That remains to be seen. I'm glad I got this today, as the mid-day sun is getting summertime harsh, so the light won't really be good again until late September.
