Highly Formal Portrait

 

For this photo I played with my little sister's hippy costume and I had her sit down on the floor. The sun coming from the window casts a really nice light on her face and arms and legs. And the shadow created is blurry, which helps with the whole "formal" theme. In photoshop, I added a dark brown background and then overlay-ed it, so it created a dark tone that's fitting for these types of photographs. I also really like the expression on her face, I feel it contrasts with there costume, but fits with the mood.
