IAR-316B Alouette III 122 RoAF | Bucharest International Air Show 2016
One of my favourite helicopters, the little Alouette III with its cute bubble cockpit and exposed engine producing a sweet little whine. I just love it! More than 50 years after the Sud Aviation created this bird, it is still flying in the Romanian Air Force and training all pilot cadets in the art of helicopter flying. Note the guy in the right hand seat holding on to the window frame during the steeply banked turn.
