Driving Van Trailer (DVT) 82307 leads the late running empty coaching stock from Canton Depot which will form the 1W96 1716 Cardiff Central to Holyhead on 16th March 2017. Class 67 locomotive 67010 is at the rear (out of sight) providing power.
The 1716 departure for Holyhead - and the corresponding south bound working from Holyhead, are the only Arriva Trains Wales services to provide first class accommodation. The restaurant car - which also provides first class seating, can be seen at the front of the train in this photo.
