Blowin' Sweet Bubbles

Native bee (I don’t know what species) happily bubbling away after a good feed from the late summer flowers. I managed to get some footage of this nectar-bubbling action but it was quite breezy and so it’s a bit all over the place. Hopefully the images suffice to show the process! Photographed on a bush trail in Katoomba, upper Blue Mountains, NSW.
