[Average Quality] 1982-1983 Saurer/Hess GT650 TPG Genève 663 – Douane de Bardonnex
I had read some days before about the replacement of these nice buses… Not many Saurer buses are left here, and probably it belonged to the last that were still in daily use in 2014… For me, it was a great surprise to see it there, at the border in Bardonnex!
I'm really sorry for the awful quality – when I've seen it first, we were driving and couldn't stop, and later at night, well… I can't really take good photos at night without tripod (and without my own camera). :–) I'll still upload them though.
This bus was there to be hauled to Van Hool in Belgium (probably it was part of a deal with Van Hool when they sold the new buses to TPG?) It should have been exported to the Ukraine, but it will now probably be scrapped… :–(
