Foothill - & Oakwood - NWC
Foothill - & Oakwood - NWC, Curb Ramp, No Truncated Domes. No groove lines. Ramp entrance is not flush. Ramp slopes are too steep. Inadequate turning space (running/cross-slope that is excessive of 2%; = 3.3/10.9%) at end of ramp. Also since the turning space of this perpendicular curb ramp is constrained at the back-of-sidewalk (by a retaining curb) the depth (in the direction of the ramp run) is supposed to be 5' instead of 4' (PROWAG R304.2.1). The retaining curb currently constrains the ramp to a 3'2". X-West= 11%; S-West= 4.7%; &length= 4'4". X-East= 24.4%; S-East= 6.2%; &length= 3'7". Ramp Run Y= 7'9" and slope= 14.4%. PRoW = 8'., Add TD. Add groove lines. Make ramp entrance flush. Extend the flare(s) so as to reduce its slope(s) to less than 10%. Extend the ramp run so as to reduce its slope to less than 8.3%. Reconstruct (and partially retract) the constraining retaining curb such that the turning space is at least 5' deep and fix its slopes. Either that or transform this into a parallel curb ramp.,
