Stob Dearg ( Buachaille Etive Mor)
I had heard there was a wonderful view point of this fine mountain en route to the corbett, Beinn a' Chrulaiste, so I decided to take a wee look. The weather on this day was very challenging with strong biting winds, and snow/hail/rain showers thrown in. On reaching the corbett there was a complete whiteout - a strong snow blizzard and no view. You start to ask yourself why you're doing this...
However, on the return trip to Stob Beinn a' Chrulaiste there was a brief break in the weather and the view to Stob Dearg appeared. My fingers were just about active enough to press the shutter, so a small consolation although definitely worthy of returning for a sunrise shot one day...hopefully soon....
