Take off accomplished!
Take off accomplished! Yet another of the geese taking off at Shelby Farms. You can see a couple of ducks standing on the ice of the partially frozen lake. There were over a hundred geese sitting on the ground to the left of this and about every couple of mins a group of them would take off, fly over and land either on the ice or water...having the best time!! These had just taken off from the lake and then circled around and landed before taking off again. It was so much fun!!! Cold, but fun!
I thought that was a blue heron standing on the embankment and NorthwestKathleen just said it too!! If you put it on large, you will see it :)
