Summer Safety Tips for Every Age Group (Infographic)

It’s almost summertime. As much as I’m very excited with school break, I also can’t stop thinking of the inevitable intense summer heat! Though I enjoy the heat of summer most of the time, there are still some dangers of being exposed to prolonged heat. One of the most prevalent is dehydration. When we enjoy our time under the sun, we often forget the essentials until we feel the need for it. Sadly, once we feel thirsty, we’re already dehydrated. If left unchecked, dehydration can lead to dry mouth and swollen tongue, headaches, fatigue, and rise in blood pressure. Before matters get worse, it’s best to stop it when it’s not rolling yet.

Also, kids are more prone to dehydration since they don’t really feel what they need once they enjoy themselves too much. So before letting the kids make their sandcastles in the middle of intense summer heat, make sure to keep this authoritative summer safety infographic by Afterschool.ae by heart.
