66 Yamaha guitars

My Yamaha SG-2 guitars from 1966, the first year Yamaha made solidbody guitars on a large scale (if you call a couple thousand large scale) These were never officially imported to the US--Most were brought here by GI's who got 'em on tour overseas. In terms of sound, construction and quality, they're pretty close to a Fender Jaguar, but lots cheaper (at the moment, anyway...) The sunburst one is pretty much original, the blue one a 99-dollar basket case slowly brought back to life over three years of restoration and scouring the globe for parts. These are currently my main axes, and I love 'em!
