Prompted to return after seeing some photos of Catesby Tunnel on Flickr, I was amazed to see the changes over the last 20 years. This is a view of the trackbed north of Charwelton, looking back southwards towards Bridge 490 and the site of Charwelton station. Fast forward another 12 years, and the whole area is once again totally transformed, this time by the high-tech testing facility using Catesby Tunnel.
