First Alcoa mined it, profit margins thinned along with the top soil, Alcoa pulled out and mined elsewhere, the government took over mining operations, the locals got restless as native Jamaicans saw major wealth divisions among themselves, crime, rebellion, revolution….. and Bob Marley sang all about it.
