I really like how Crewdson exhibits different kinds of lighting and brightness in his photographs. No rule of thirds, again. She looks unhappy although her garden is growing beautifully. The sun shining through the windows are giving this photo an eerie kind of feel. The various amount of color in the flowers pop out tremendously. It looks kinda strange how there is a garden in what it looks like dining room since there is a china cabinet type thing on the left. The lamp above her seems unnecessary to me because there is enough light coming into the room from the windows.
