This VLCC was a huge deal, as its two million barrels of sweet light crude oil from from Al-Baṣrah, Iraq was the last shipment of it's kinda before the Strait of Hormuz became too great of a insurance risk. This ship would bounce around between Marathon's Pier T facility and the inner harbor anchorage for close to two weeks before the ship was fully emptied out, with a pair of Polar Tankers landing at the berth in between. Once done with it's work in Long Beach the ship will drift around the area before heading to Singapore for orders, then it will be back in rotation between Fujairah, United Arab Emirates and East Asia.
