Look as much as you want, you won't find a toothbrush nestled in the branches of any of these trees.
In the foreground is a pinion pine, behind it are two Colorado spruces, in the right background are three Southwestern white pines, and an elm is peeking in at the far right. On the far left (brown and leafless so far) is a row of ash trees.
Since moving to Colorado over 20 years ago, I've done my best to recreate the green and treed Minnesota where I grew up. Trees need a little more help here, as my summer water bill attests.
