Chain on the Water - Photo #2
-Objective 2
Camera mode: M (it allows me to control the picture to my liking)
f stop: 5.6 (it gives me a wider depth of field)
Shutter speed: 1/125 (it worked with my exposure)
ISO: 100 (I was shooting in bright sunlight)
Focal length: 75mm (to get less of a warped image)
-Objective 3
Principles
•Movement (following the chain)
•Balance (between the whites and the blacks)
Elements
•Shape (used organic shapes with a chain)
•Value (on the chain in the reflecting sun in the water)
•Texture (on the surface of the water and the ground)
-Objective 4
I used direct lighting in order to get the reflection effect
-Objective 5
•HDR (3 photos)
•Changed contrast with curves
•Sharpened (within HDR Pro)
•Resized
-Objective 6
I feel that this was my best HDR, I made the photo look artistic but not to the point where it looks overdone. The lighting worked well with it reflecting in the water. The photo itself give a soft and relaxing feeling. I could have used a few more photos for the HDR, but it worked well enough.
