The British Kitesurfing Association Kiteival took place on Earnse Bay, Walney over three days in August 2010.
The event saw professional kitesurfers, as well as amateurs and juniors, take to the waves of the Irish Sea, while kiteboarders rode on the sands as well.
Thousands of people came down to watch from the beach, with the event now in its third year.
