Brown-throated Sunbird (Anthreptes malacensis)♀

The Brown-throated Sunbird, photographed in Malaysia, occurs in Southeast Asia in mangroves, lowland rainforests, and flower-rich gardens. It feeds mainly on nectar and small insects, playing an important role as a pollinator and building small hanging nests. Its behavior is very active, flying quickly between flowers and usually seen alone or in pairs.
