And here we have the menu for our tasting experience at Blackbird. While they were kind enough to give us a copy (as that is not their standard procedure) there is very little between this and what is on their website.
Of course, the menu on their website is always subject to change.
Blackbird is a very cozy restaurant. You sit right next to the people you are not even dining with. The tables are separate, but you are not getting into the bench seating without your table being moved so you can sneak in.
As a result, it turns into a very communal experience. Thankfully, my party was seated next to a wonderful diner on his own as he was in from San Francisco and a friendly couple who were just out on a date.
The communal aspect actually heightened the evening. We conversed when appropriate and enjoyed our meals when the time cam to dig in. =)
