grilled cheese in french toast with strips of fat oozing bacon. my mom wasn't a devout catholic but she would practice certain traditions that had been with her family and most catholic families such as eating only seafood during holy week. so this kind of breakfast was sacrilegious and unthinkable on a good friday.
