The Loyal Subjects DIY Jem/Jerrica

So, we were on a 2 week journey to add The Loyals Subjects Jem to the group.

 

Long story short(er), we had to turn to ebay for one (right), and lucked out on finding another during a quick restock on walmart.com (left). So we HAD to give crafting a proper Jerrica a shot!

 

We used some blonde root touch up spray to change her hair. Sadly, it didn't live up to the color on the label (the shade looks the same when sprayed on white paper towel, so it's not mixing with the pink). We also used a marker to tint her glasses. Not sure where they were going with giving her clear lenses.

 

All in all, we're just going to go with it. Maybe we'll try a different brand of color spray down the road.

 

We also noticed that these two have slightly different shades of hair (warmer vs cooler pinks), and seem to be rooted differently. "Jerrica" has a very clear center part, and simple round bangs. Whereas Jem's hair is bigger overall, no parting, and razor cut bangs.

 

If she ends up getting additional restocks, it will be fun to see how many variants get made after her run is over.
