Mikey Sklar & Wendy Tremayne
Team VFF Takes on Mescal Canyon
Andy, Wendy, Sesame, Bean and myself woke up early and headed out to
Mescal Canyon for a little hike. You know you reached this location
when you can smell and soon after see the dead goat on the other side
of the Rio Grande from TorC. We all have a pair of vibram five fingers
now so we were able to discuss the different types of terrain and how
the KSOs and Springs performed. Nothing significant to report, but I
did fine that the KSO model (Keep Stuff Out) did manage to prevent any
large rocks from getting inside. Checking my shoes after returning
home I did have a bit of fine grit at the bottom, but no pebbles.
