A technical bulletin entitled "Report on Salvage Operations: Submarine S-51" that describes the salvage of USS S-51 (SS 162).

USS S-51 (SS 162) was commissioned June 24, 1922. On September 25, 1925 she was rammed and sunk by a merchant steamer off Block Island, N.Y. Only three of the 36 crew members survived. S-51 (SS 162) was raised on June 5, 1926. This book is one of many in the U.S. Naval Undersea Museum's collection detailing different U.S. Navy operations.
