Matched Ammo Results

I'm still a beginning marksman. This is a 10-shot group fired from my brand-new Savage Mk II bolt-action .22LR rifle. Ammunition was bulk Remington Thunderbolt ammo (lead roundnose target ammo), BUT with an added twist: I weighed every round and then used calipers to mic the rim thickness of each cartridge. This group was shot with cartridges whose rims were all matched at 0.00440" thick. The results are striking compared to the Mixed Ammo Results. It may be as good as match grade ammo--I need to buy some match ammo and see how much of that grouping wobble is due to my poor shooting. I'm not showing the target because I was shooting at dusk and literally could not see where I was hitting, so I focused explicitly on always aiming for the same spot and trying to keep my groups tight.
