Crooked Pine Tree

I'm up to Chapter 7 in our Sketching in Nature book-- the one about using watercolor as a sketching medium. So for the first time I left the pen and ink at home and sketched directly with watercolor pencils and added water to blend on the spot. Luckily the temp shot up to a balmy 35 degrees and I had a little more time than usual to work.
