This is a nice Queen Anne style cottage but omits the tower/turret most commonly associated with the style. With a slight change in the front bay with the chamfered corners, it would return the house to the Italianate style. Houses of this type were common all over California, esepcially in the San Francisco Bay area where thousands still stand.
