Departing Freeport
Shortly after departing Freeport Station at the village entrance, Boothbay's Henschel Locomotive #6 eases her 3PM excursion past one of the sheds containing the railroad's small diesel critter as well as some MOW equipment. The train will shortly be climbing a steady grade on the north side of the complex, working its way up to its next stopping point at Thorndike Station.
