Statue at Birkdale Cemetery
We drove past Birkdale Cemetery on our way to Martin Mere nature reserve, and I just had to go back for a walk round. The cemetery is on the coast road between Liverpool and Southport, just north of Formby.
The cemetery is on a small hill and the sea is just half or mile or so behind. Very nice place. There's a sea breeze that blows through.
