Tracers on Soap Film
I had a very frustrating time trying to photograph bubble film earlier, but these stringy sperm like patterns made it worthwhile.
It was frustrating because I found it very difficult to get halfway decent exposure. The lamp has to be at the right angle to the film, and so does the camera, I think, and that's not easy to do. And I could barely see anything through the viewfinder, so it was very hit and miss.
And I hurt my eye, with the flash going off right next to it. And I got a headache. And it's frigging cold here in the UK. And we don't have double-glazing. I mean, I could go on................ Oh, and I tried using extension tubes with my macro lens, and I could see nothing through them.
But, who said it was easy! And as they say, anything worth doing will have its difficulties. And I love this. It's worth doing. It's worth persevering with.
