Bayer test brick - 7xc (05) in Earth Yellow
It is often difficult to find out when a specific test mold was being used. Sometimes, the brick colors we find can give us an indication.
As far as we know, LEGO never used parts in color 108 Earth Yellow in any set. In the past, some factory leftovers were available for sale to LEGO employees. A few of those parts found their way to us. The tile in this photo was probably made in the late 1990s.
It is reasonable to assume that test bricks in this color were made around the same time.
