While waiting in the warm depot at the Downers Grove station, East End DS put up a highball for the westbound Metra and then another westbound highball on the Zephyr track, and finally an eastbound highball on the close track - classic racetrack form. Fortunately, the eastbound could not spoil the fun as Metra rolls in for a station stop while an NSINTW-type manifest has already come into view on the Zephyr track.
