An Autumn Morning in Melrude
Our objective was to clean out the gutters at the cabin; however, we were looking for some train movements as well on a beautiful fall day. Just before we were going to turn down Paulson Rd, the MP 56 detector came to life, announcing the arrival of a southbounder. So we headed for Melrude proper and set up at the grade crossing to watch Q116 blast by with a M-2 on the point. Those were the days.
