Yellowstone National Park - Steam Vents

Fumaroles or Steam Vents are Top Thermal Areas. Steam and other gases emerge from the feature's vent, sometimes hissing or whistling. Steam Vents are often super-heated, with temperatures as high as 280 degrees Fahrenheit.
