Pretty Purple Petals
A second train ride took us to the town of Denali which sits at the edge of Denali National Park in Alaska. We spent a rainy afternoon on a tour bus with an enthusiastic driver who was also a naturalist. Over the course of the tour she pointed out highlight s of this park and explained how they are making great efforts to leave things as natural as possible. I'm not sure what these beautiful flowers are but they were found in many of the places that we stopped.
