Flexibility
After photographing 1680, with the camera level with the spike I wanted to show the side and base of the spikes in a better easier to view way. I attached Golf tees onto a sheet of latex as it would allow movement. I had intended for it to hang vertically at eye level but after lying it on a table to dry i realised that instead of having to vary the spike size and density to show movement I could vary the shape of the base.
