Nottingham Minibuses & Coaches YD05 SDH
It was news to me that Nottingham Minibuses & Coaches had bought more B7TLs, as until this point I’d only been aware of their blue ones. But it appears the inevitable has happened and an ex-Dublin example has infiltrated the ranks of their otherwise First-derived decker fleet. Ordinarily I’d say this was a fairly dull bus, being both plain white and of Dublin origin, but from a fleet where that’s an exception I’ll make... an exception.
One feature of the NM&C school buses are their decidedly OTT tree deflectors, which come in the form of large grids that partly or even completely cover the upper deck windscreens, and this one is no different. Other features of interest are the black painted bib-panel (to resurrect that terminology from my Lincoln spotting) and the thick rubber side strip replacing the usual beading atop the skirt panels on an ALX400.
Bustimes incorrectly lists this as being in Stotts Coaches livery.
