With Lindum Road closed to northbound traffic and precisely zero information about diversions at the bus stops, I wandered around the north side of the city centre looking for where they'd all gone. Didn't find much, as they were either on Monks Road or going miles out of their way, leaving the inner half of routes like the 7/8 and 10/12 unserved. At the time, however, I wasn't to know that.
The one thing I did come across, however, was the city tour, which despite the rain had its regular open topper on and gave me my second RoadCar Gemini in fifteen minutes. I came across it by chance on Bailgate, in the old part of the city up by the cathedral and with the historic Newport Arch in the background. The bus doesn't go under the arch; it wouldn't fit unless they wanted to make it fully open top!
