Optimism

On weekends during the summer months there is often an ice cream van parked up on the triangular traffic island at the junction of the roads to Dronfield, Calver and Fox House at Longshaw on the Sheffield / Derbyshire Peak District border. Perhaps today with regular heavy downpours sweeping up the Hope Valley, queues for ice creams may be unlikely.
