The onlincolnshire programme is rolling out fibre broadband to over 89% of the county by April 2016. It is using Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK) funds following the signing of a £48m contract led by Lincolnshire County Council and BT in March 2013. The programme builds on BT’s commercial fibre investment which has already deployed fibre broadband to around 167,000 Lincolnshire homes and businesses.
