Oxford Chaplaincy building: Combination of the Old Palace and Cafe Loco extension (groundfloor)
St. Aldates street, opposite to Christ Church college gardens entrance. Contrast of 1. brown framing in the Palace and new white framing in the cafe, 2. new material in the whole surrounding (brick). I havent noticed it the first time I went around, its not too disturbing in the context of surrounding buildings, but once I stopped and took a closer look, the little extension uses a different language, could have been done with a deeper setting in the context of the built environment around (shapes, brick material).
